ʻĀkulikuli naturally grows on sunny, windy sandy beaches and coastal coralline areas. This is a pantropic plant.
In the Hawaiian Islands, ʻākulikuli is found on all the main islands and in the Northwest Islands on Midway Atoll (Pihemanu), Pearl & Hermes Atoll (Holoikauaua), Lisianski (Papaʻāpoho), Laysan (Kauō), and Necker (Mokumanamana).

How to wear:
These flat-back earrings use tension to stay in place--no threading here! To wear, insert the post into the tube about a third of the way and bend gently before inserting the rest of the way. The bend creates a tension hold that keeps the two pieces together.

Please use extra caution with Emeralds, Pearls, Opals, Turquoise, Lapis and Malachite. These stones are more sensitive to heat, chemicals and break easier. Remove when in extreme heat, avoid harsh chemicals and chlorine or doing strenuous activities. This jewelry is best to put on after you are done showering and getting ready!
Solid 14-karat gold can sustain daily wear and will generally not tarnish. Clean with an organic cleaning solution, rinse with warm water, air dry and polish with a lint-free polishing cloth.
