Because we carry such a wide range of options, most of our pieces are made to order. They are made especially for you to your specifications.

Can I return made-to-order pieces?

We cannot return most made-to-order pieces as the items are made just for you. If you find that your order is not a perfect fit or if you’d like to change something about it, it is possible we can help! If you’re unsure about sizing or possible alterations, just reach out and out team would love to assist!

Are all jewelry items on your website in stock?

While we do carry samples and have stock in some of our styles, in stock pieces are always made in 14k or 18k yellow gold and rings are a size 6 or 9. While we keep a wide selection of styles in stock, not every style is available

Ring Sizing

All of our in-stock rings are a size 6. We chose 6 as our sample size because it is in the middle of the average ring size range and is easily resizable up or down in most cases.

How long does it take to get a ring resized?
If you are interested in a one-of-a-kind or collection ring and you know your/your partner’s ring size, please allow 2 weeks for resizing. If you are unsure of your/your partner’s ring size, we always recommend taking the ring as is, in a size 6. Your first resize is complimentary and you can take advantage of this service at any time.

Can I purchase a band as-is directly from the website?

Because we offer such a wide selsction of bands, all of our band styles are made to order.

How do I determine my ring size?

If you need help determining ring size, the most accurate option is to work with an experienced fine jewelry professional. There are many factors to keep in mind with ring sizing and using an at home kit can often be inaccurate without an expert’s help. Our hands naturally fluctuate in size depending on diet, exercise, and environmental factors. Anatomy should also be considered. If you are unable to visit a fine jeweler to determine ring size or would like to keep it a surprise, we recommend selecting a size 6 and returning for resizing once you have determined proper sizing. In cases where we are unable to resize, a new piece will be made for you instead.

Product and Materials

Where is your jewelry made?

We handcraft our pieces in Hawai’i. This gives us better control over quality and ensures that our makers are fairly compensated and working under safe conditions. Most of our necklace and bracelet chains are made in the USA.

Are all of your pieces made with 14k solid gold?

All of our yellow gold pieces are made with 14k solid gold (not plated or filled).

Where do you source your gold and diamonds?

We only work with vendors with high ethical standards and knowledge of the supply chain. That means, the gold that we use are regulated and certified by the Responsible Jewellery Council (RJC).

RJC is an international body, headquartered in London, that certifies fine jewelry product manufacturers and suppliers for responsible ethical, social, and environmental practices throughout their operations. Certification and membership requires an independent third party audit covering all aspects of operations, from our supply chain and production to business ethics and employee health and safety.

Our vendor uses 100% recycled materials in the manufacturing process and is under a certificate through SCS Global Services.

SCS Global Services is an international leader in third-party certification and standards development in environmental and sustainability claims according to global standards. Our vendor has received SCS's certification for 100% recycled metals, verifying that when you buy manufactured metals—gold, silver, platinum, and palladium products—they have 100% recycled content.

We are committed to selling conflict-free diamonds. We believe it is completely unacceptable to tolerate conflict diamonds and human suffering in any way.

All polished, mined diamonds sold through our vendor comply with the World Diamond Council System of Warranties and the Kimberly Process, which ensures rough diamonds are

  • Exported and imported with a government-validated certificate stating the diamonds are conflict-free.
  • Transported between signatory countries in a sealed, tamper-proof container.
  • Sold with a statement from the seller on all invoices guaranteeing the diamonds sold are conflict-free.

I don't know my ring size. Do you have a ring sizer?

Yes! You can shop our ring sizer HERE.

Alternatively, you can visit your local jeweler to get sized.

Do your products have a warranty?

Yes, our warranty covers one complimentary repair within six months of order delivery, given that the damage is caused by a manufacturing defect. Our warranty does not cover lost pieces, improper storage of a piece, or any modification made to a piece by a third party.

Please email us at info@sorajewelryco.com to be sure that your piece is repairable, and to receive a prepaid shipping label.

Please note that most Sora pieces are handmade and may have attributes that vary slightly from what is portrayed on our website. These are not defects and will not be repaired.

Do you provide repairs?

Sora provides complimentary repairs for pieces that fall under our 6 month warranty after purchase. Please email us at HERE to be sure that your piece is repairable.

Damage due to neglect, abuse, or natural wear and tear will be repaired for a flat rate of $50, unless Sora deems otherwise. Sora reserves the right to charge fees or repairs using our professional discretion.

Due to the nature of herringbone chains, they may not be repaired. If you have specific questions, please email info@sorajewelryco.com.

Please note that most Sora pieces are handmade and may have attributes that vary slightly from what is portrayed on our website. These are not defects and will not be repaired.

All of our stones are natural, not dyed or heat treated. No stone is exactly alike, and slight color variations and inclusions are normal.

All repairs originating from Alaska or international will require an additional $20 fee to cover shipping surcharges.

Do you make custom jewelry?

Yes, we accept custom jewelry orders. Please email info@sorajewelryco.com for custom and revival project inquiries.

Why do you include the gold weight of each piece in product details?

Today, precious metal weights and values are almost never disclosed. Lack of transparency enables modern jewelry brands to earn up to 80% of the original purchase price as revenue, and is why jewelry fails to maintain its value. The weight of a gold object is measured in troy ounces, and the price of gold per ounce is the same across the world.
